The bearing design invented by Peter Allen and Bryan Thompson uses rolling element bearings in combination with any or all the following features:

• Self-Align
• Self-Clinch
• Press-Fit
• Non-Align

The patent is currently used by Spyraflo for Drawn-Cup, Needle-Roller Bearings, but can also be used for Miniature Ball Bearings, Roller Bearings and Linear Ball Bushings.

The USA patent coverage is being extended to include Europe and The Far East.
